Robin Medina, FNP-C, MSN, BSN, PHN, grew up in Fresno and dreamed of becoming a healthcare provider. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and her medical degree from Fresno Pacific University. She has experience in pediatric oncology, surgical oncology and acute care surgery. In addition to practicing family medicine, she has certifications as an oncology nurse navigator and public health nurse. Robin’s approach to medicine is patient-centered care, which includes respect, collaboration, information sharing and empowerment for self-care. Her goal is to help patients achieve their healthcare goals by being comprehensive, compassionate and using shared decision-making. When she is not practicing medicine, Robin can be found spending time with her family. Her hobbies include traveling, listening to music, reading and exercising.
