Dr. Khampha Thephavong graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and received her Medical Degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno Internal Medicine Program, where she received the Most Compassionate Care Award in 2007 and a Scholastic Research Award in 2008.
Khampha is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California. Currently, she is an adjunct assistant professor at the California Health Sciences University and serves on the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Advisory Council at Fresno State.
When not practicing medicine, Khampha can be found spending time with her family exploring parks and the outdoors, as well as coaching and mentoring youth from underserved backgrounds.
