After completing my pediatric residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and my Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, I practiced pediatrics briefly in Michigan before joining Children’s Hospital of Central California (Valley Children’s Hospital) as a Pediatric Emergency medicine physician. I worked there for eight years and moved to Kaiser Permanente and was there for ten years. 

I treat every child as I would treat my own child, believing this philosophy helps me understand your children more personally and make the correct decisions that will work for everyone. My motto is to treat with “compassion without compromising quality.”

I encourage child and parent education and better understanding of your child’s condition, which will help us achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

During my time at the Pediatric Emergency Room at Children’s Hospital, I served as an educator and quality director. I reviewed my peers’ practices and frequently discussed advances in childcare and evidence-based medicine.

Family:

My wife has a family medicine practice in the valley, my daughter is working on attending law school and my son is embarking his college journey to Berkeley this year.

Hobbies and Interests:

I enjoy serving underprivileged children across the globe. I am an active member of Operation Smile. I have participated in several missions in the past and I intend to go on future missions. I play the English game of “cricket” on weekends, and love playing tennis. Traveling, and nature are my other hobbies. Spending time with my wife and children is my main priority; my other hobbies revolve around them. As a family we enjoy traveling, hiking, swimming, and cooking.
